About us
Each garden is an adventure. Between the sand dunes of Fort Bloqué and Lannénec pond, Annie Verdès and Didier Fogaras settled on a few acres of wild land in 1987.
They design and lay out gardens in the mild climate of South Brittany, where they also grow bamboos, grass and sea-side plants. Passionate about plants, they are always looking for new rare species, and therefore communicate with many collectors and nurserymen in France and around the world.
They have a preference for bamboo of which they grow 300 varieties and hybrids. Indeed, this plant has amazing aesthetic potential.
Various shades of canes, elegant, straight or floating shapes, they are actual vegetal sculptures that can easily be associated to the lightness of grass (100 species), perennial plants, shrubs in blossom or coloured foliages in a garden inspired by a “land art” spirit.
